Senior Commodity Buyer, Indirect Purchasing

We are looking for a driven new member to join our team! As a Senior Commodity Buyer within Commodity Management, Indirect Purchasing at CEVT, you are responsible for handling sourcing according to approved budget and defined scope from our stakeholder. You are responsible for setting strategy within your commodity together with your stakeholders to ensure that we have a preferred supplier base and make sourcing according to our Sourcing Process. Responsibilities and tasks:

- Maintain and follow up your supplier base and contracts.
- Establish, negotiate and maintain commercial contracts with terms that are in the company’s best interest.
- Actively drive and participate in continuous improvement and development of processes and systems, both internally and externally. As well as seek and invite for a collaborative way of working internally and externally.
- Proactively identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet our standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
- Actively drive and participate in creating effective and long-term supplier relationships and also continuously monitor the status of suppliers and maintain supplier database.
- Conduct research on potential suppliers and vendors and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities.
- When required, actively track and follow up on material deliveries.
- Communicate and be available both to internal customers and suppliers.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Work towards commodity-based structure and take full commodity responsibility as well as be responsible to develop and implement sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans.


Required qualifications and skills:

- Deep knowledge within Purchasing
- Experienced in both setting and working with commodity structure
- SAP experience
- Great negotiation skills
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good overall administration skills
- Ability to take initiative and a strong personal drive
- Solution-oriented and great ability to manage multiple tasks
