ValueOne is looking for a Senior Commodity Buyer IT for a seventh month assignment at a company in the automotive industry in Gothenburg. The assignment starts in March.
The role
This is a role where you will establish, negotiate and maintain commercial contracts and actively drive and participate in creating effective and long-term supplier relationships with suppliers that meet the company´s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. You are responsible for working towards a commodity-based structure and take full responsibility for your appointed commodities. You are also expected to develop and implement sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans. Continuous improvement and development of processes and systems, both internally and externally, is part of the role. In addition, your responsibility covers monitoring of industry trends and continuous research on potential suppliers as well as maintenance of the supplier database. The role involves many contacts with both internal and external stakeholders.
Competence and experience
For this assignment we are looking for an experienced purchaser with deep knowledge from purchasing of professional services. Experience in setting and working with commodity structures is essential as well as good negotiation skills. The role also requires excellent written and verbal skills in English. Experience from working in SAP is a must.
You are a person with good overall administration skills who is able to manage multiple tasks at the same time. You are self-sufficient and not afraid to take your own initiatives
