Senior Computational Biologist - In-Situ

You will be responsible for performing analysis of ISS data from customer projects and to support technical and data/image related questions. The tasks might extend over time to a broader responsibility of being the owner of delivering these projects. You will also contribute to further improve and develop image analysis pipeline. This position runs in close collaboration with a team of qualified scientists with expertise on image acquisition, image analysis and statistical analysis of ISS data. During this you will be exposed to high profile cutting edge biological and disease-related research projects from Pharma- and academic customers.
What you will be doing:
Large-volume microscopy image data processing and analysis
Performance and delivery of ISS analysis in a structured, efficient and documented way
Cell identification (e.g. via standard image segmentation or machine-learning approaches)
Provide downstream support for end users



To be successful, you will need:
MSc in computer science / engineering / bioinformatics or other relevant education
Image analysis experience (e.g. CellProfiler, ImageJ)
Programming languages: experienced in Python or MATLAB
Excellent written and spoken communication (English is our working language) and problem-solving skills
Experience interacting with a team of scientists, and a publication track record with collaborators
