As our Senior Concept Engineer you will be an important player in the development of Interior Trim parts for the next generation of smarter and more sustainable mobility. You will join a team that are dedicated to development, innovation and technology.

Our team, Interior Trim & Cockpit, is a part of the department Rider Environment and are responsible for almost all the interior parts. The team consists of a great mix of very experienced and more junior engineers that are, just like you, proud of their professionalism, motivation and level of skills.

This is what you will do most of the time:

- Define and create concepts for various areas within the Interior department that meet functional requirements
- Responsible for early-phase concept definition, evaluating Design proposals and propose corresponding technical solutions
- Create concepts from scratch with limited input
- Drives the Interior concept development according to requirements
- Act as a mentor for the more junior members of the team
- Secures packaging and design feasibility within given frames
- Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements
- Define interfaces and participate in mechanical and electrical/SW integration meetings


Suitable background and experience:

- Min 10 years’ experience from concept development, preferably from Interior Systems
- Extensive experience in CAD (Catia V5) modelling especially interior trim systems.
- Extensive knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Experience from feasibility studies and system set-up in early phases
- Fluent in English (Speaking/Writing)
- Driver’s license B

- Line reporting to Head of Int Trim & Cockpit
- Project reporting to Project Management
