SENIOR CONCEPT SURFACE DESIGNER - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Concept Surface Designer with dynamic job opportunity in our exterior team where the surface designers, industrial designers and studio engineers together develop the transportation solutions of the future.
What you'll do:
● Assists the Designer in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy.
● Achieves set goals with acute attention-to-detail, tracking progress & anticipating potential issues.
● Create supporting artwork that illustrates design concepts and Create new, as well as use existing CADs to demonstrate concepts.
● Deliver DSM in the late phases of the design process (Class-A Surfacing), covering the last internal DSM gates of the programs.
● Responsible for creating digital design models (DSM) and visualisations in close cooperation with project managers, designers, studio engineers, suppliers, and to ensure that product design has a competitive IT environment.
Who you are:
● A self-going surface designer with minimum 10 years of experience from the automotive industry along with knowledge of technical prerequisites of cars.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English language.
● Have good sense of form, ability to build models with class-A quality and a “nothing is impossible attitude” is required.
● Technical knowledge with Autodesk Alias for advanced concept modelling, Modelling Methodology with low math and theoretical intersection, complete exteriors, lead surface design, quality check, Maya, AliasSubD, Blender, VRED, CATIA V5, and Team center.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organization.
