Senior Construction Engineer Electrical

We are looking for a dedicated senior construction electrical engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent construction team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing the Northvolt ETT production facility and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job:
A senior construction engineer electrical is responsible for overseeing the construction process, from planning and design to completion. They work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure that construction projects are completed to the required standards and specifications.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Construction Planning: responsible for planning and scheduling all aspects of construction projects. This includes developing construction plans, identifying resources, and coordinating with project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time.
Construction Management: responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including budget, schedule, and quality. You should be able to manage project risks and make informed decisions to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
Design Management: responsible for managing the design process, including reviewing and approving design plans, and ensuring that design plans are in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Quality Assurance: responsible for ensuring that all work meets the required quality standards. You should be able to identify areas where improvements can be made and work with project teams to implement changes.
Team Management: responsible for managing a team of engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals. You should be able to motivate their team, provide guidance and direction, and ensure that team members are performing their duties effectively.

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required. At least 7 years of experience in construction engineering, preferably in the construction industry, is required.
Knowledge and Skills: The Senior Construction Engineer should have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should be familiar with industry regulations, construction technology, and project management software.
Certifications: Certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
Analytical skills: The Senior Construction Engineer should have excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions. They should be able to evaluate construction plans and identify areas where improvements can be made.
Leadership skills: They should have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. They should be able to provide guidance and direction, and make decisions that benefit the project and the team.
