Senior Consultant - Clinical Documentation

At Cerner we’re working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Principal /Lead Clinical Consultant to join an exciting project across Region Västra Götaland (VGR) for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities. The new system includes a service to manage the health of their 1.6 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and improved work environment for healthcare professionals.


As a Senior Consultant for Clinical Documentation, you will be advising clients on workflows across service lines and guide them through interdependencies and design decisions impacts. Working with the client, you will be creating a strategic plan to obtain value achievement across service line and identify workflow and process improvements, making recommendations to both client and project leadership.
 
Your role will involve driving cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, General Studies or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 5 years work experience in implementing one of the following Cerner Millennium Clinical Documentation software solution
Completed 2 projects within the last 3 years using the Consulting Framework Methodology. 

 
Expectations:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
Ability to travel up to 100%
