Senior Consultant - Millennium Core

At Cerner, we are working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Swedish team. Västra Götalandsregionen has partnered with Cerner to provide electronic solutions for regional healthcare. This involves the design and build of workflows for clinicians that are geographically within the region. This represents a historic and exciting opportunity to align processes and create integrated patient-centric workflows across the entire continuum of care.

As a Senior Consultant for Core, you will be advising VGR stakeholders through the process of integrated design workshops and build of complex workflows to meet the healthcare needs of Västra Götalandsregionen which will impact performance, satisfaction and clinical and business outcomes. Working with the client, you will be creating a strategic plan to obtain value achievement across service lines and identify workflow and process improvements, making recommendations to both client and project leadership. You will also be involved with the design and build of the necessary infrastructure to support newly developed Patient Data Law (PDL) functionality for Millennium in Sweden.

Your role will involve driving cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies.

You will also be responsible for providing solution specific education to local hires and growing them to be the local Swedish talent. You will work alongside the experts to gain knowledge and skills that will prepare you for a long-term, meaningful career with Cerner.

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, General Studies or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
· At least 5 years of work experience in implementing the following Cerner Millennium Clinical focused solutions like Primary Care/Ambulatory.
· Completed 2 projects within the last 3 years using the Consulting Framework Methodology and/or Iterative Methodology.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
· Ability to travel up to 100%
