Can you design content that is clear, concise, and useful and know how to craft experiences through words? Would you like to guide our players through our games and help create a seamless experience for them to enjoy?
We are looking for a Content Designer to help us level up the craft at King. You will work on content design initiatives across our games to deliver unforgettable experiences that delight players across the world while creating business value.
Your Role within our Kingdom
Content Design is one of the fastest- growing crafts at King. You will join a team of Content Designers and will work with crafts like Narrative Design, UX, UI, and Game Design. As part of a cross- functional team, you will be working closely with UX designers to craft user journeys and design content that meets users where they are and guides them to where they want to go.
You are a problem solver with a passion for games. You will report to the Head of Content Design and will be supported by the Lead Content Designer. As a member of the team, you will help develop systems, guidelines, best practices, and workflows that improve our ways of working and how we work with other teams. In addition, you will be working with the Globalization team to help make our games accessible and amazing around the world.
Your Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross- functional partners (narrative designers, UX designers, UX researchers, developers, and producers) to create the player experience for our games.
Write clear, concise, and useful microcopy for mobile game experiences
Work with other Content Designers to maintain and evolve content guidelines, create content best practices, and develop ways of working.
Help evangelize Content Design across stakeholders, especially game studios, and contribute to the development of the craft at King.



Skills to create thrills
We would like to see your portfolio that demonstrates a history of projects as well as their outcomes and learnings as part of your application
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
Great communication and presentation skills together with experience in workshop facilitation.
Experience working with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
