We are looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our growing team. Being the first dedicated content designer at Mentimeter means you will play a big part in shaping the role, the way we work, and crafting the product experience together with your partners in Design, Product, and Engineering. This is why we believe that you not only excel in the craft but also want to contribute to the way we work with UX writing and content design.
The role focuses on the written aspects of our product experience and using microcopy and product content to solve user needs and achieve business goals. It involves leveling up our writing practice through audits, establishing guidelines and content patterns, and socializing them in teams. You will help push our tonality and connection to brand values, and alignment with other copy functions within marketing sales and support.
We strongly believe in the power of the empowered product team. We are building an organisation and processes to ensure a high level of alignment, focus on outcomes, and contextual support from leadership to enable great work to happen. As a Senior content designer, you will support multiple teams across the whole experience, looking holistically at how we express ourselves, but also help identify specific needs and initiatives.
Who we are looking for
To thrive in this role as a Senior content designer, we believe you are someone who loves the craft of writing, has an eye for user experiences, and can push content design at Mentimeter forward. You thrive in collaborating well with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers. You are as passionate about crafting clear and compelling messaging as solving user needs.
You believe in the power of experimentation and are not content with the perfect wording unless it proves to make sense to the users. You use hypothesis writing, validation, and iteration to ensure your words deliver the right impact.
You have a knack for thinking in systems and see consistency as a key perspective to your role. Creating patterns and guidelines is a natural part of your process. You are effective in prioritizing your time and continuously evaluating where you can make the most impact.
Skills and requirements
5+ years of experience in an English-speaking Content design or UX Writing role.
Written and spoken English is at a native level, and you are highly skilled at turning abstract concepts into simple sentences.
Have worked in a product company with cross-functional teams and identified ways to scale content practices across teams and areas.
Have helped build processes and guidelines for UX writing or content design in a product context and are interested in shaping the role of content design at Mentimeter
Continuously use insights throughout the writing process to understand, ideate, and validate.
Keep stakeholders in the loop and share your impact and perspectives both in writing and presentations.
Create positive relationships and consistently show the value and impact of great writing.
See diversity and inclusion as key aspects in both your writing and the teams you work with.

Not required:
You don't have to know Swedish (daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 40 different nationalities!)
