As Senior Controller you will have the overall ownership for the financial accounting, reporting and analysing business and production data. As the finance business partner for the local management team you are ensuring that the local leadership teams understands the impact of operating performance on financial results as well as driving a culture of continually improving within both operating performance and financial processes.
In this role you will be the Swedish finance team leader and you will also collaborate with the leadership team in Europe as well as with the European finance organization.

Since 2016, we have been part of AAF International with Daikin as the main owner. AAF conducts research and product development and has a complete product range of high quality. We take our mission very seriously and invest significant resources in developing our products and methods to be at the forefront.
Dinair AB has its headquarter in Vadstena and is also represented throughout Sweden with approximately 130 employees. There are also offices in Stockholm and Helsingborg and two production facilities located in Horndal and Kinna.
This position is located at Dinair's head office in Vadstena and part of the local Finance team. You report to the country manager and functionally to the Regional Finance Manager. Business trips within and outside Sweden are expected.
Some of your areas of responsibility/tasks:
- Prepare financial analysis, reports, forecasts and budget process
- Responsible for complete and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial and KPI reporting.
- Responsible for accurate and timely month end and year end closing
- Develop and maintain business controlling including corrective actions with business and/or finance stakeholders were deviations
- Develop and maintain production controlling including product costings and stock pricing of the plants
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Project control: monitor, track and manage existing and new projects
- Maintain compliance with company finance policies
- Supervise the accounting team
Your profile
We believe you are an experienced business controller or from a similar area of work, with a commercial mindset in terms of how business and production performance affects financial outcome. You step out of your comfort zone through curiosity and act without prestige. All while of course having fun with your colleagues.
You have
- University degree in finance or business administration and/or relevant experience.
- 5 years in controlling functions
- ERP software in controlling and accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English in both written and oral
- Driving license
- Managerial and international experience, ideally in a matrix organization, is meritorious but but not a requirement.
