About you

You bring one or more of the following competence(s) to the table:
• You take a leading role in developing our incident response capabilities for the entire Ingka group, both technically and organizationally, ensuring we are an enabler to the business.
• You are experienced in SOC operations and feel comfortable leading a continued integration of our SOC service into the business. You are technically oriented but also understand the importance of implementing reporting structures and governance models with our business to ensure a great outcome.
• You are able the lead the response to business-critical incidents, working with numerous stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure proper actions are taken and that regulatory related activities are executed as required.
• You support in developing our detection capabilities, working with teams to secure that mechanisms are in place for attacker techniques tactics and procedures, and that remediations are automated when able.
We believe that you also have a good understanding of security in a broader context:
• SIEM and XDR o Custom detections and detection engineering. o Detection tuning. o Working with TI and IOCs.
• SOAR o Incident response playbook development. o Automation of incident response tasks.
• Compliance and audit o Laws & Regulations (e.g. GDPR, PCI-DSS, China CSL etc.) o Systematic work with internal frameworks o Large-scale co-ordination of technical teams
• Knowledge of Security Software Development Lifecycle (Secure SDLC)
A day in your life with us
To be successful in the role, we expect that you have a proven track record with 5+ years working security operations, preferably in one or more roles in a SOC. You have a strong technical background, possibly with developer skills relevant for incident response. We also believe you have the capability to communicate to stakeholders in a clear and concise way, verbally as well as written. We trust that you are used to managing highly confidential information and act with a strict level of professional discretion.
You will be joining our detect & respond team within Ingka Group, we are working according to the agile principles and can promise a great teamwork and collaboration. We are responsible for our security detection capabilities, security and privacy incident response globally, our internal penetration testing capability and our responsible disclosure and bug bounty program (bugs.ikea.com).
The focus for this position is to take a leading role in continuing the advancement of our SOC and incident response capabilities, and to work closely with colleagues in developing our detection process and controls.
