Tetra Pak design and deliver dairy processing lines and plants all over the world. In Lund, Sweden we have a team supporting our global organization with the aim to bring optimal solutions to the continuously growing global Dairy market. The Dairy Chilled team in Business Unit Liquid Food is now looking for a Senior Dairy Technologist to strengthen the team.
Within dairy chilled we work with solutions for processing of all dairy products for chilled distribution, e.g. consumption milk, cream and yoghurt.
As Senior Dairy Technologist, you will together with our existing dairy technologist team be a key person in the global dairy organization, driving technology development, supporting sales and order fulfillment both within the Business Unit, to our market companies and to our customers.
We offer you a challenging position in a highly qualified team and close cooperation with sales and market companies all over the world.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden, and includes 20-30% travelling.
What you will do
Take ownership of and drive technology development within Dairy Chilled and Fermented including technology scouting
Train and drive the competence development of our global organization within the area of food and processing technology
Support sales team with food technology expertise and product knowledge to provide best practice production solutions
Support customers with food technology expertise, trouble shooting and audits of their production facilities



Who you are
We are looking for a highly self-motivated and outgoing person. You enjoy being the expert, sharing your knowledge and inspiring people. You have ability to listen and to absorb customer needs to build a good market
understanding. You have a strong commercial focus and are keen to combine this with your food technology competence.
Your personal drive is strong and you like taking overall responsibility. Your communication skills are excellent, and you have the ability to build trust and good relations with global colleagues, in both sales and technically oriented positions.
You hold a university degree in food technology, food chemistry or equivalent. You have minimum 5 years’ practical experience from the dairy industry, preferably in dairy products, production or processes.
Your English skills are excellent, spoken as well as written.
