At Volvo Group Trucks Technology Electromobility, we are currently looking for a Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join our fantastic team working with Productivity Services.
What do we do?
We are Virtual Product Development and Digital Services in Electromobility, a dynamic section providing world-class solutions for Electromobility systems and delivering customer values for Volvo business units such as trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine applications.

What will you do?
As a Simulation and Analysis engineer you will be a part of a highly motivated and collaborative team that develop software used in productivity services. These services are helping our customers specify the right vehicle for their application and plan, execute, and optimize their transport mission.
You will develop models and algorithms that meet system requirements from on-going and future projects and develop system solutions in close cooperation with your team and experts from different parts of the Volvo organization. You will also verify and validate these solutions in complete vehicle, simulation, and other system setups as part of the development process.

We also believe that you have:
Master of Science in engineering or equivalent
System simulation, analysis, or software development experience from automotive industry
Practical understanding of vehicle dynamics
Proficiency in Python and Matlab
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
5+ years in relevant engineering profession preferred
Truck driving license is a merit
