Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Join a dynamic team in Gothenburg dedicated to consolidating Life Science products onto a unified, state-of-the-art platform
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, leveraging Apache Spark and Java as core technologies to ensure efficient data processing and integration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows, data storage, and retrieval, ensuring high performance and scalability
Utilize the client’s tech stack, including PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Unix, AWS, Python, and Apache Airflow, to deliver robust data solutions
Contribute to data engineering best practices, ensuring quality, reliability, and effective management of large-scale data

What you bring:
Extensive experience as a senior Data Engineer with a primary focus on Apache Spark and Java
Proficiency in data engineering within complex environments, with experience in PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Unix, and AWS
Familiarity with Python and Apache Airflow, with the ability to work with minor Scala components
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach, ready to thrive in a fast-paced Life Science project
Proven ability to develop scalable, high-quality data solutions that meet project and client requirements
Fluent in English and Swedish.
