The supply chain business is changing, and we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be an important part of digitalization, where automated supply chain business processes are transforming business and IT, into common value streams.
As a Spearhead Data Engineer, you will not only develop and optimize pipelines and storage, determine feasibility of data architectures, but also together with other spearheads, such as Data Scientists, Software Engineers and ML Engineers, be the vanguard in the technical transformation journey - collaboratively building needed capabilities in a more and more digitalized business.
As a master of your craft, you care about the quality and development methods and take pride in seeing the data engineering professionalism among more junior developers rise from your guidance. You probably carry a lot of passion in unleashing the value of data by developing, deploying and maintaining robust data pipelines. The data can vary from small to big volumes and the pipelines using different methods such as batch, streaming, distributed, APIs etc., and to cope with an increasing volume of both data and pipelines you share and stimulate a DataOps culture in the community. You understand how data needs to be transferred, combined, transformed and made available to enable continuous business value.
We think that you have extensive experience in SQL and NoSQL , Spark, Python and Databricks along with Azure services configuration and monitoring of e.g. Data Factory, Service bus, and Event hub.
Here, organization and hierarchies are of less importance. You like being part of different constellations such as ad hoc exploration teams, stable DevOps teams and networks of peers, and as self-propelled you can navigate different modes of development. Having one foot in exploratory development and one in continuous development and maintenance, you have the opportunity to unleash your creativity but also act on your sense of quality and structure.
You feel for the communities you are in, listen to understand the stakeholder’s context, assuming liquid leadership when needed and being an integral part of a learning organization.
Interviews will be conducted continuously, so if you feel you are the right person, please send in your application today.
