Arbetsbeskrivning

About Normative
At Normative we are creating the norm for carbon accounting by providing intelligence to companies to reduce their climate footprint. We translate financial data into tangible carbon insights enabling companies to understand and reduce their carbon emission. What we do has a real positive impact on the climate. You can too!

The Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in architecting the data-driven foundation at Normative. As part of our amazing Tech team, you would be the go-to person designing, building, and owning the analytics infrastructure we need for useful data insights - from high-impact decisions regarding our product strategy to fine-tuning different parts of our product and making sure companies can efficiently measure and understand their emissions. Without context, data is just numbers - you help us turn data into the sustainability intelligence companies need to reach net zero.

What you will do
- Design, build and own the foundation of the data platform at Normative.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers, Data Scientists, and product teams to tackle Normative’s data challenges.

- Drive internal tooling around data analytics and data quality.

- Develop performant and reliable data pipelines.

- Share your knowledge around data best practices and learn together with your teammates.

We think you will be a good match if
- You want to be a part of a team working against climate change.

- You have worked in a similar position before - as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Software Engineer - and have experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure.

- You are well versed in using the Python data stack and SQL for analytics.

- You have worked with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Google Cloud, and with data warehouses, such as Snowflake or BigQuery.

- You feel comfortable setting up data pipelines using tools like Airflow or DBT.

- Experience with (or interest in learning) infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is a plus.

We also believe you are
- A person that deeply cares about making a real contribution towards a sustainable future.

- Enjoying working in an environment with the typical challenges of a growing company, asking a lot of questions, and learning new things.
