About this opportunity
Welcome to the Data, Finance & Risk Architecture team. We support and direct Nordea’s transformation by providing a holistic architectural view and structured understanding of the bank, and its surrounding environment to enable the Customer Vision and the Business Strategy. As the Senior Data & Integrations Architect, you’ll play a valuable role in proactively drive the creation of the IT architecture needed to support and direct development initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
* Being accountable for developing target and transition architectures that provide guidance and steering for initiatives in the context of the data reference architecture and data roadmap
* Providing solution design and architectural leadership that includes creation of content relating to business, application, data, process and technology architecture viewpoints in High-Level Design (HLD) artefacts to support implementation of IT solutions
* As a response to prioritised problem spaces, the candidate must be able to present design options and recommend solutions that deliver the most business value while limiting technical debt. This includes articulating benefits and drawbacks of various design options, and recommendation of what’s preferred
You’ll join a team of experienced architects that has a central role in providing data architecture support and steer for the bank. The role is based in Poland, Sweden, Norway or Finland. We expect the candidate to be based in the country of hire already.

* Have the ability to work with engineers, developers, project managers, as well as C-level executives to demonstrate Group Architecture’s value proposition and align on architecture recommendations
* Keep focus on own continuous development and learning, as well as mentor others to build knowledge and improve overall effectiveness
* Communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation and explain complex concepts, in clear and understandable ways to build understanding
Your experience and background:
* 4+ years’ experience in a lead architect role, driving development of high-level target and transition architectures, as well as crafting fit-for-purpose solution design content that provides explicit guidance for agile transformation initiatives
* 4+ years of related work experience in the areas of Data Management, Information/Data Modelling, Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics, Data Warehousing
* Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, methods and architecture patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration to support operational, analytical and reporting use cases
* Experience with relational DBMS and big data
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms including Amazon Web Services and other vendors such as Snowflake
* Proficient with business analysis, software engineering, technical solution design, risk and quality management
* Preferably experience in full-service banking, financial accounting and reporting, non-financial risk management
