The Data organization combines leading-edge cloud technology based on Microsoft Azure and Databricks with state-of-the-art analytical capabilities to enable scalable data-driven decision-making across the Electrolux value chain. The Data organization is a dynamic, multi-functional, and quickly growing organization, being a key focus area with strategical importance within the Electrolux group. The Data organization focuses on unlocking significant business value and are expanding to accelerate impact even further.
Responsibilities:
Advice and guide Business and Tech stakeholders on all organizational levels on best practices relating to architecture and enabling data-driven decision-making. This also includes requirements on internal source systems and integrations to enable the correct data to be generated and accessible for analytical purposes – everything is not served and ready.
Provide guidance and leadership to the rest of the Data organization i.e., infrastructure architects, platform architects, data architects, data engineers, data warehouse engineers, and data analysts by way of architectural principles and best practices, to fulfill the technical platform driven by business needs and an agile delivery methodology.
Create, maintain, communicate and own a long-term architecture for the Data Platform.
Work with other architects and engineers responsible for our customer-facing platforms, back-office systems, integration services, and application programming interfaces with the third parties to align the Data Platform roadmap with other roadmaps of the technology landscape.
Lead and chair relevant architectual forums to align daily operation with the strategic direction.
Establish low-level architecture artifacts such as patterns, best practices, and golden paths or guidelines to align daily development with long-term architecture.
Support the Head of Data Platform in evolving the group's capabilities in daily operation, which includes being involved in recruitment processes, mentoring colleagues, and educating the organization in the domain area.
Monitor the D&A market on emerging technologies as well as methods to assess their relevance to the organization to drive business value based on data as well continuously optimize the platform from a cost perspective.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, or relevant field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
15 years of experience in developing data and analytics platforms, end-to-end development life cycle, support, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ETL/ELT/Pipeline processes.
8 years of leading development teams, preferable in distributed organizations, including architects, engineers, quality assurance, infrastructure, and operations professionals.
Proven experience delivering complex data and analytics solutions from platforms with massive data volumes to many end-users.
Demonstrate understanding of enterprise platform architecture covering data warehouse, data marts, big data, business intelligence, analytics, content management, data lineage, and data management.
Deep technical understanding of cloud services and their impact on elasticity and scalability as well as the different types of cloud offerings such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Proven experience in platform architecture and how it affects and integrates with data architecture, and vice versa.
Experience from working with at least one of the big public cloud vendors (Azure, AWS, CGP).
Ability to recognize and implement the importance of Infrastructure As Code and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automation.
Experience with two or more vendors in any of the following areas including SQL Server, Oracle 11g, MySQL, SQL Data Warehouse Appliance, Oracle Exadata, Netezza, Greenplum, Vertica, Teradata, Aster Data, SAP HANA, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, R, Oracle Endeca, Oracle OBIEE, SAP Business Objects, SAS and other Analytics Vendors.
Experience in presenting to internal and external (conferences) audiences.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Fluently in Swedish is preferred.
