Description

The scope of the consultant services is to assist the Client in..

- To implement the group data privacy strategy and common group goals in the european centres organisation

- Secure the 'Privacy by Design* concept and integrate the data privacy function as a key business partner

- Lead the european centres organisation to develop Data Privacy Maturity and governance assigning responsibility to relevant stakeholders for completion of key activities.

- Be the speaking partner for European Centres orgaisations for day to day privacy issues, to enable the successful navigation and compliance with our steering documents and local data privacy legislation.

- Secure the process for individual rights requests and ensure that this is followed

- Keep up-to-date on current and emerging trends and changes in legislation within the area of data privacy and applicability to the organisation.

- Compile and update the risk register for European Centres organisations showing all data privacy risks

- Secure that local privacy impact assessments on existing solutions and processes are conducted and monitored

- This job will require some travel

- Subject to current corona virus conditions.



Mandatory competence and experience:

- A sound knowledge of data privacy laws and related regulations and the impacts to the Clients business for markets within area of responsibility

- Sound knowledge of translating requirements from laws and regulations into practical, implementable policies which can then be managed and measured

- Good understanding of how the three disciplines of data privacy, information security and information management can both overlap and complement each other

- Good understanding of how the IT landscape affects data privacy compliance

- Good knowledge of what constitutes best practice in data privacy and how to benchmark the Client in data privacy against competitors and market Peers

- Passion for people, teamwork and working internationally

- Understanding co-worker and customer data ad high-value assets
