All about the role:
The Data organization combines leading-edge cloud technology based on Microsoft Azure and Databricks with state-of-the-art analytical capabilities to enable scalable data-driven decision-making across the Electrolux value chain. The Data organization is a dynamic, multi-functional, and quickly growing organization, being a key focus area with strategical importance within the Electrolux group. The Data organization focuses on unlocking significant business value and are expanding to accelerate impact even further.
As a Senior Data Security Engineer at Electrolux, you are responsible for safeguarding the data stored in the data platforms for analytical consumption. Your main tasks are implementing and monitoring of security controls for the data platforms to ensure that data is managed and used according to Electrolux security policies. The work contains documentation of the processes, maintaining the implementation plan and security requirements in close collaboration with architects and the information security and compliance organization.
What you'll do:
•Monitor the data platforms for security breaches and investigate various types of security incidents.
•Conduct detailed endpoint and network forensic data analysis as part of the investigation.
•Proactively improve processes and technologies to prevent and minimize security risk for the data and the data platforms.
•Develop and maintain documentation for security tools related to the data platform.
•Assess and report privacy and compliance impact on the data platform to the information security and compliance organization.
•Scan the data platforms for vulnerabilities i.e., threat modeling according to known methodologies, and provide appropriate mitigation plans.
•Implement data protection into the data platforms in close cooperation with Data Engineers, Architects and Data Security Organization.
•Create, maintain, communicate, and own a security architecture for the Data Platforms.
•Classify data (Data Classification) according to defined categorization, taxonomy or ontology.
•Proactively work to prevent Data Exfiltration i.e., prevent data theft, data extrusion, data exportation, and data leakage.
•Lead and chair relevant data security forums to align daily operation with the strategic direction.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, or relevant field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
•Proven experience with handling complex data and platforms with massive data volumes to many end-users, securely in the cloud.
•Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and methodologies.
•Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO27002, ISO 27701, GDPR, NIST, and CIS.
•10 years of experience in developing secure data and analytics platforms.
•Demonstrate understanding of enterprise platform architecture covering data warehouse, data marts, big data, business intelligence, analytics, content management, data lineage, and data management.
•Deep technical understanding of cloud services.
•Experience from working with at least one of the big public cloud vendors (Azure, AWS, GCP).
•Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
•Fluency in Swedish is preferred.
