Senior Database Administrator (DBA)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with extensive experience in Azure SQL and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be proficient in database performance tuning, monitoring, and management using tools such as Spotlight and Redgate SQL Monitor.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Azure SQL and SQL Server databases. Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
- Perform database tuning and optimization.
- Manage database backup, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database systems using Spotlight and Redgate SQL Monitor.
- Collaborate with development teams to support database design, implementation, and best practices.
- Document database systems and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Professional fluency in English.
- Proven experience as a DBA with Azure SQL and SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with Spotlight and Redgate SQL Monitor.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
