NULL OMX is a leading expert in the exchange industry.Through the Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, OMX offers access to approximately 80 percent of the Nordic and Baltic securities market.Our integrated technology solutions span the transaction chain enabling efficient securities transactions for exchanges, clearing organizations and central securities depositories around the world.OMX is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen.For more information, please visit www.omxgroup.com Market Technology's CSD Solution Team is currently looking for a Senior Database Developer.A CSD (Central Securities Depository) system provides functionality for centralized registering, bookkeeping, clearance and settlement of financial securities.Securities, such as equities and bonds, may be issued through the CSD from companies or the government.A CSD then maintains the beneficial and/or legal ownership of the financial securities in a country or a region on a participant or end-investor level.This also includes services for e.g.executing corporate actions, tax handling, controlled and optimized transfer of securities and/or cash (i.e.clearance and settlement) and extensive reporting.Job description - Development, architecture and design of large business critical projects.- Database development in collaboration with database team.- Server related programming in C# - PL/SQL programming on Oracle 10 on Linux - DB modelling with Erwin - Specification and execution of unit test cases.- Documentation of functionality, performance tuning and basic DBA (e.g.installation) - Iterative development based on RUP Qualifications - University degree in Computer Science or equivalent area.- At least five years of software development - mainly database and server side - Experience of design, development and implementation within deliverance projects comprising 10-30 developers - .Net, C#, object oriented development and database development (preferably on Oracle) - Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.- Knowledge of the Financial Industry is a merit To suit this position you have a genuine interest in technology and product development.You are result oriented with an analytical and forward thinking approach.Furthermore you have excellent interpersonal and team working skills and are used to work independently.This is a permanent full time position located in Stockholm.Application In this recruitment process OMX uses Elan IT as recruitment partner.
