Senior Design Engineer

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. As Programmer at MACH Platform Development within HVDC, you will be involved in development and maintenance, from pre-study and design to tests and integration. In our projects, you will work closely with both external and internal contacts. Together with your highly competent colleagues you will develop and maintain the MACH platform. You will further develop your skills within programming, both by taking part in, and contributing to, our great talent pool. You have a genuine interest in computers, programming and new technology combined with several years? experience from similar work. Adding a high school Engineering degree within Data Technology is highly qualifying. However, the most important is your experience and interest.

You hold a strong knowledge in C# .NET and software development in Visual Studio. It is an advantage if you also have experience of C, C++, real time programming, embedded systems, data communication, SQL or TFS. Proficiency in English is a must, whereas familiarity with Swedish or any other language is a plus. As a person you are a driven problem solver and a true team player. You possess the ability to plan and structure your work in a complex environment.
