Product Documentation is a department within Volvo Penta Product & Solutions Development (PSD). We are a team of 20 people with an open mindset, both experienced individuals and people in the beginning of their professional career. Kindness and helpfulness is a red thread throughout the whole group. We are responsible for support, quality assurance and training regarding the documentation of Product data in the PDM (Product Data Management) systems (KOLA, POS, CAD). Furthermore, the department has the responsibility for the 3D modelling process & the Creo CAD systems, creates Computer Generated Images and supplies drawings and models to the Sales system. We are also responsible for the unique Volvo Penta PSD IT-systems as well as the IT-systems PSD share with Volvo Group.


This is how you could make an impact
Your experienced knowledge and guidance will improve our designed products! You will check drawings, and pedagogically explain to designers how to correctly do the technical documents of the product. You are well versed in applicable standards and enjoy helping/improving our designers in their work. The position includes development of instructions and utilities to the designer’s aid at our CAD-Wiki and giving educational training to the designers.

You have extensive experience of creating and interpreting technical documents like drawings etc. You are experienced in Creo and Windshill and your knowledge in Geometrical dimensions & tolerances is profound. You have a broad knowledge of materials, standards and design such as casting, plastics and sheet metal. Systems like KOLA, PDMLink, CREO, KNOX and Rfas are well known to you.
