You should be able to build good relationships with internal stakeholders, as Design, as well as have a good relationship with external suppliers. 

To thrive in this role, we also believe you:  

* Have worked many years as Design engineer, preferably within automotive and thin sheet design. Excellent knowledge in relevant tools, i.e Catia, Teamcenter. Can independently develop technical solutions.
* Deliver balanced and optimized Engineering Template output models, provide block leader with technical input to design, update the engineering template ”freeze log” when ICM´s are revised
* Together with the Engineering template Team balance Product Design,-Concept soultions and Attributes from a Block area and Complete vehicle perspective.
* Drive and control the development of an optimized product with awareness of competitor solutions and latest manufacturing techniques. Be a link between te engineering template team and the combined knowledge from the Department that the member represents.
