What’s in it for you?
Wouldn´t it be both exciting and challenging to be a Design Engineer where we are working in different areas such as door structure, door mechatronics, trim & glass, sealings and software. In our ART, Side & roof, you will work closely together with our architects and all the teams. You will gain a broad network within Volvo Cars.

What you’ll do
As an experienced designer, you will be designing new concepts, making analysis, deliver prerequisites to our teams and other areas, meaning broad collaboration with many different interfaces and stakeholders. You will look for answers, creating proposals, support other designers, build your network and be part of the development of our future.
Typical interfaces are Body, Interior, Electrical.

You and your skills
We think you have a technical BSc university degree or equivalent experience within the mechanical field. You have really good design experience from CAD-design in CATIA. To be suitable for the position we also believe that you have more than 6 years’ experience of working within product development and designing products. You have good skills in English, both spoken and written and since we produce cars, we do believe that you have a driver’s license even though it’s not a must. We also believe you are a team player with a positive attitude, having good communication skills, decision making ability and wants to drive issues to a solution
