About our department
The Electric Driveline Structural Parts team is responsible for the design and development of components such as the housing, bearings, shafts, and oil cooling systems for Electrical Machines in Electric vehicles. We are working at the heart of Volvo Cars future becoming a pure electric vehicle company. What you will do.
You will be part of our agile team developing Electric driveline structure components. In this position you will lead the design and engineering release activities in all development phases. You will also secure the fulfillment of technical requirement through verification activities.
You will have a close collaboration with the cross functional team where you together develop the components within your area of responsibility to reach objectives, quality, time plan and budget.
You and your skills
* A genuine interest in innovation, technical solutions and problem solving
* At least 5 years of experience in product development and high understanding of development phases from initial concept to final delivery.
* Experience working with CATIA or equivalent 3D modelling tool.
Leadership skills and previous experience in automotive industry from propulsion or electric driveline would be appreciated.
