Job Description


Are you the right person to be a part of establishing the most loved retail lifestyle destination with quality, sustainability and modernity at its core? Are you an experienced Senior Homeware and/or Textile Designer who would you like develop your designskills further in our creative customer focused environment? In combination with great energy and communication skills, then you might be the one we are looking for!
As Senior Homeware Designer in our Homeware department, you will be part of the collection team with the main focus to create the best offer for our target customer. You will be the creative visionary for the Homeware Textile concept’s products and assortment. You contribute to growth and profitability by creating and developing products based on the visual goal for your target customer aimed at all sales channels.
Our focus is on the full collection range for Arket Homeware Textiles including products like rugs, cushion, covers, towels, throws, napkins and table cloths.. You will drive and create the assortment together with the team and contribute with new fresh ideas and make it happen! You have excellent ability to foresee and analyse upcoming global homeware trends and translate them to our business concept.




Qualifications


We are looking for you who
Are a Homeware and/or Textile Designer with a of minimum 2-3 yrs work experience
Have a strong sense of homeware trends and a strong global market analysis understanding
Love working with commercial homeware products, are business minded, goal oriented and have an entrepreneurial mindset
Are highly creative and take action to be an inspiration to your team members
Solid experience from product creation and development with sustainability in mind
Used to work across full range collections
Have excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite programs, as well as strong illustration and hand drawing skills
Attention to detail is key
Are flexible, open minded and positive
Can work at a high pace, unafraid of hard work in periods, high and low with no prestige
Always see possibilities, improvements and can inject and push new ideas to the team
Are a great communicator, unafraid to take a step forward and speak up
Are a driven team player and can also work independently with a strong self drive
Fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)
