We at Autonomous Vehicle Mission Control are now looking for a senior cloud developer to join our team and be a part of this fun and interesting journey.
Your tasks
You and the team will be working with a number of backend services in AWS, providing capability for our user interface, ICE (Intelligent Control Environment), to communicate with the autonomous vehicle. ICE is the user interface for controlling and monitoring our autonomous vehicles.
The team shares responsibility for developing, testing, operations, security etc, so there is a great possibility to be a part in all areas. But there is also the possibility to become more specialized in areas as we work with the concept of appointing leads and forum representatives (i.e. security, tech).
As we are moving closer to have vehicles running in actual operations, we are focusing a lot on building ops-capabilities.
Your profile
You love to code and make the it perform wonderful things in an efficient way. You have an agile mindset and a positive attitude to new techniques and tools. You like to work in teams and share your success and struggles with others.
You have a Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, computer programming or equivalent work experience. It’s also good if you have at least 2-3 years of work experience with AWS infrastructure. We use C#, Python and Kotlin as our main coding languages, so knowledge or interest in those is good. Having aan “ops mindset” is good and experience of SRE is meriting. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
