Senior fullstack developer in C#, python and WPF

RaySearch has several cancer care products, and we are now looking to add more talented developers to our DICOM team in the treatment planning system RayStation.
RayStation is a desktop application that runs on premises at more than 800 cancer clinics all over the world.
The DICOM team has an important and central role and collaborates with most of our 11 cross functional RayStation development teams as well as with clinics using our products and other companies using the DICOM standard for radiation oncology purposes.
As a part of the team you have the possibility to work with a variety of interesting tasks and may based on your interests and level of seniority take different paths.

Some of the team’s responsibilities are:

• Create and maintain a sustainable and well-designed architecture for the DICOM related areas.
• Import of patient scanning data such as CT images, that are then used by the clinical staff to contour tumors, risk organs and plan how to best deliver a dose to the tumor.
• Export of plan data to the treatment machine delivering the planned dose to the patient.
• Developing services for patient data retrieval and storage.
• Python scripts for filtering patient data for clinics.
• Collaborations with vendors of treatment machines and imaging devices.
• Anonymizing patient data used for investigational purposes.
• Treatment plan report generation tools.

Outside of the collaborations the DICOM team has with our own teams, our Service department and clinics using RayStation, they have a seat on the committee that sets the DICOM standard for radiation oncology. This group meets regularly to make amendments to the standard. In addition, the DICOM team tests RaySearch’s compliance with the DICOM standard at the Connectathon meet ups that take place in different locations in Europe or the United States on a yearly basis.

Your profile

You feel motivated by increasing cancer patients’ chances of survival and recovery. You are thorough and responsible, always striving to write well designed code that holds to build features on today and years from now. You enjoy working in a technologically advanced environment with other competent developers.

• M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology and Network Engineering, Medical Engineering or similar
• 3+ years of experience with C#.Net
• Experience of large or advanced systems
• Experience of working with other seniors in a learning environment
• Interest in system integrations or network communication
• English: Full Professional proficiency

It’s an advantage, but not required, if you also have experience of DICOM, MedTech, Python, communication protocols or WPF.

In order to continue with our important mission – to improve cancer care across the world - it’s important to us that our employees have a positive working environment. Our headquarters are at Torsplan, Hagastaden, in Stockholm’s Life Science Hub. In our newly constructed office both workplaces and social spaces are tastefully decorated. Every day our bistro serves something to eat in the morning and in the afternoon. Our own kitchen staff also prepares an amazing lunch spread with new themes every day.
We have our own gym where you can workout before work, on your way home or at lunch with your colleagues. We have yoga and work out sessions on a regular basis.
