Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you want to be part of taking one of Sweden’s biggest media companies to the next level? We are now looking for a Senior Developer to join our Stockholm office.
Our data and loyalty teams have the responsibility to give our customers greater value through personalization by building solutions that gather user data and track user activity.
About the job:
You will be responsible for building everything from user interfaces for user data gathering and login to site tracking solutions and data collection microservices and infrastructure. For example, we are currently implementing a cross-site login and a centralized tracking solution.
You will have two highly skilled senior full-stack developers as your nearest peers and an extended development team of 20+ developers, mostly senior to help you if needed.
We organize ourselves in smaller cross-functional product teams where every team has a product owner who leads the team and a business owner who ensure that what we do are in line with business expectations. The team also consists of developers, designers, analysts and experts. The teams are self-organizing and drive the agenda for their area. We run around 10 of these smaller teams in parallel.

What is it that makes our developers thrive at Aller?
We have asked our developers why they like to work at Aller media and these are some of their answers:
- Nice colleagues, reasonable workload, I have the opportunity to learn new things through collaboration with colleagues and on my own. We take time to help out and we are kind to each other
- That my opinions are listened to and the level of trust we have between each other.
- Friendly environment, Good attitudes from colleagues, Flexible work time.
- I think there is a good and open atmosphere between colleagues and managers. No negative stress. I am respected and my work is appreciated.
Who are you?
You have several years of experience working as a developer. You manage your work and thrive with great responsibility. Problem-solving is one of your great driving forces, but also to deliver quality solutions
You like to tackle problems even if you do not know exactly how to solve them but learn along the way and are therefore good at acquiring new knowledge on your own.
You master both front-end and back-end well but are perhaps extra good at one of them.
You can translate functional requirements into a technical solution, and you can communicate with ease with people who are less technical than you.
You probably also have experience with some of these technologies:
- Frontend - HTML, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Backend - Javascript, PHP
- Databases - SQL, NoSQL
- Cloud services (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure or similar)
What we offer:
