Arbetsbeskrivning
With the mission to drive the shift towards sustainable transports, Scania is today a software company focused on Connected, Electrified and Autonomous Vehicles. Not only will there be no drivers in the vehicles, they will be coordinated by intelligent planning and scheduling algorithms making the efficiency and utilization rate of the transports go up. This means taking a wider perspective than the single vehicle and focusing on coordinating a fleet of Autonomous Vehicles with our cloud services.
We are looking for people who combine software-development skills with an interest in continuously learning from the way the products are used by our customer.
Position
The mission for our DevOps teams is to develop all parts of Scania’s autonomous transport system besides the autonomous vehicles themselves. We handle it all, from customer integrations, mission handling, route optimization, smart queuing of vehicles, to the user frontend in the command tower. Our customers using autonomous vehicles are based all around the world, from heavy trucks in open pit mines in Australia to buses on public roads in Qatar. We are in many aspects still in a learning phase and expect the teams to continuously adapt to customer needs. Our services are deployed in Amazon Web Services and developed through a strong team effort and in collaboration with other teams and partners.
We are working agile in a SAFe context and are product and customer centred. The teams are responsible for everything from gaining insights about customer needs to deployment and how a new deploy helped fulfilling a customer need. The teams are also supporting the Product Owners in the strategy- and roadmap work.
