About the position
Alvier Mechatronics is an independent start up company within Höganäs AB with the goal to inspire the industry to create the next generation electronic machines. We hope you will join us in changing the future!
We are looking for a Senior Development and Test Engineer to join the Prototype and Industrialization team at Alvier Mechatronics. The team is responsible for process developing of powder parts (compacting, heat treatment, potting) and building Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) prototype parts. Furthermore, testing and validation of prototypes including electronics, mechanics and complete systems, like motors and inductors. We are striving to achieve a digital twin, in other words a virtual model designed to accurately reflect the physical machine. To accomplish this, one of the key elements is using the design for Six Sigma.
As a Senior Development and Test Engineer within our team you are responsible for leading and implementing the design for Six Sigma within the company, for example making sure that we use Design of Experiments in our development projects as well as Measurement System Analysis on critical measurement equipment’s used in our labs. You will also be responsible for the complete analysis of SMC parts (geometrical, electromagnetic etc.) to validate the results of the design requirements.
Your employment will be within Höganäs AB but you will be working for Alvier Mechatronics. The position is located in Höganäs, Sweden.
Your profile
• Master of Science or equivalent in mechanics, electronics, physics or similar, and a minimum of ten years of work experience.
• Have Six-Sigma black belt certification and experience in design for manufacture methodologies as well as 8D root cause analysis techniques.
• You have good knowledge in statistic data analysis. Knowledge in Minitab is a merit.
• You also need to have good knowledge in performing tests on electrical motors and general material tests.
• You are an innovative and result-oriented team player, well organized with experimental planning skills. You have good communication- and networking skills to be able to get both internal as well as external tests done in an efficient way.
