Senior Development Engineer

Are you a Development Engineer looking for the next step in your career?

The Secondary & Primary Package Design group within Carton Economy is looking for a Development Engineer.Our role is to support projects, package specification owners as well as product management with package concepts and innovation.As the Carton Economy key markets are outside of Europe, some travel is part of our work.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- To translate consumer/retail needs into well-judged primary, secondary and merchandising package concepts and to coordinate initial tests on concepts including market, cost, technical and environmental performance

- To lead internal network within secondary and distribution solutions across D&E as well as within Carton Economy P&DS organization

- To lead university collaboration projects and supervise students in key areas as packaging logistics, merchandising and environment.

You have an academic degree within engineering and a documented (minimum of 5 years) experience in package design, packaging logistics, merchandising solutions or secondary material development.
