The Volvo Penta Exhaust Aftertreatment System department are looking for a senior design engineer who are interested in working with development Exhaust Aftertreatment mufflers, urea distribution and system integration. You operate in all design stages within our marine and industrial applications. We believe that you can take the lead in develop the aftertreatment portfolio going forward with challenges as alternative fuels and ultra low emissions. As a person you are curious and strive to take on new possibilities, you like to be involved and you are able to look at the bigger picture as well as going deep down in details. You have the ambition and energy to develop yourself in a way that can lead to new tasks and responsibilities. As a person you enjoy working in a team and like to inspire your team colleagues. You feel engaged by working in projects and reaching goals. Since the job consists of a network of contacts internally and externally, your networking skills are highly valued.
Who are you?
To be successful in the role as design engineer within the Exhaust Aftertreatment System team we believe that you hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and relevant working experience within relevant technical areas such as aftertreatment system and CAD design of complex technical parts. Sheet metal experience within design- or manufacturing engineering is a merit. We use CREO CAD & Creo view software as a daily working tool.
