Senior Digital Modeler

CEVT is an innovation centre for the future cars of the Geely Group with the purpose of being at the forefront of new developments in the automotive industry. Geely Design is a multi-cultural global organization with studios in China, Sweden, Spain and USA. Geely Design Sweden is responsible for vehicle design within the Lynk & Co brand portfolio.
Our Digital Modeling team focuses on building digital models with directions from designers and studio engineers. Our team enjoys working together and put emphasis on flexibility and cooperation. As exterior Digital Modeler you will be responsible for delivering digital shape models for future Lynk & Co cars. 
The successful candidate must have a professional attitude, be flexible and have ability to meet tight deadlines working in teams or as self-leading. As professionals in a diverse workplace we emphasize on respectful prestigeless approach and good ability to deal with divergent opinions. You will need to be detail oriented and structured in the work with good understanding for modeling and design quality.
Based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, you will be working closely with Designer and studio engineer at Geely Design as well as with colleagues at Geely in China.

Main focus in your role 
* Using Alias Maya or ICEM Surf to develop digital shape models according to agreed standards and quality.
* Work in a cross functional team with designers and studio engineers to deliver a design and technical compliance digital model.
* Visualize your models for relevant people to identify design or quality deviations.


Qualifications and key attributes
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in digital modelling.
* Good understanding and knowledge of design and 3D shapes.
* Skills in VRED, Catia and Teamcenter is an advantage.
* Passion for design development and ability to support fast changes.
