Formal qualifications in Project Management and 8+ years of experience in leading projects

Sound judgement skills to make timely and effective decisions
Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of digital as an integrated part of the business
A university degree and the possibility to commute to one of our offices in Malmö, Helsingborg or Amsterdam.

Your responsibilities
You will be leading and driving projects to deliver business value. You will also support and coach digital project office team members and contribute to common ways of working. You help drive development initiatives in the team as well as on digital project office (DPO) level.
As part of the job, you will be:
Responsible for planning, managing and delivering assigned projects, including time, cost, scope and quality with a focus on maximized business value overall and a clear business case
Identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks to keep projects on track and create awareness on time in case of issues
Report to and communicate with DPO leadership, steering group and other stakeholders to manage expectations and support prioritisations
Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and the line organisation
Drive continuous improvement of quality and performance in assigned projects to ensure targets are met
Identify and communicate resource needs, within assigned projects, to the DPO leadership to secure a better utilisation of team resources
Work in compliance with our Project Framework e.g. in planning, execution and quality assurance processes, steering and follow-up in order to promote best practices and ensure a common high-quality output
Provide support and guidance to assist in the development of projects and junior project leaders

About this work area
The Digital Project Office, DPO, consists of 6 teams with a total of 60+ project leaders. We are project management professionals with a focus on delivering measurable business value. Together we have centuries of experience navigating complex projects, understanding key drivers, challenges and managing projects to get things done.
We set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We drive the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services using new and existing delivery methods to deliver at pace. Being the Center of Excellence of Project Management at IKEA, we also take responsibility outside Group Digital for some of our important change initiatives.
