Senior Director Cathode Development

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Sr Director Cathode Development to join our stellar team.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The Sr Director Cathode Development is responsible for the development of battery cathode material including process definition, material characterization & development, external material benchmark and roadmap execution.
Other tasks include but are not limited to:
· Secure resources (team and equipment) to enable development of battery cathode material
· Manage process definition, material characterization & development and external material benchmark
· Manage and ensure delivery of project activities, milestones and development progress in order to execute the cathode material roadmap
· Work closely to process development team to enable scale up of manufacturing processes for cathode active material
· Interface with Chief Development Officer and cell design team to secure the material roadmap fits into the company overall technology roadmap
· Day to day interactions with different Northvolt teams and departments
· Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between customers and Northvolt's internal stakeholders
