Senior Director of Product (3D)

Your responsibilities will include:
· Build & lead a product organization that will develop the technologies necessary for growing Cognite's 3D applications and services.
· Define and communicate the strategy for 3D and imagery data for great short term delivery and long term impact.
· Articulate the local competitive landscape
· Lead the creation of a regularly updated overall product roadmap, prioritized with problems worth solving now, later or never
· Lead key product/services moments/activities/releases
· Build and land growth plans to win and maximize the market opportunity
· Drive business outcomes by executing go-to-market plan to exceed business targets
· Orchestrate execution to deliver on business metrics and deliver results
· Actively lead and engage with all stakeholders across engineering, sales, partner, marketing, and services
· Determine key insights and asks to accelerate adoption of 3D services and products
· Understand and deliver on the needs of the existing and new customers
· Help shape the culture and methodology of a rapidly growing 3D team
· Maintain product knowledge and evangelize the product internally and externally to press, enthusiasts, influencers, sales , customer and partner scenarios
· Act as the voice of the field by ensuring timely updates/feedback
· Assess if the teams are doing the most important thing with real impact and adjust accordingly
· Provide product communication to a wide variety of audiences i.e. customers, developers, senior management, internal groups, and internal departments and at industry events
· Be an expert in the product and keep up to date with technological advances, and buyer and user preferences

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Product (3D) who:
· Has at least 9 years product management experience, including at least 4 years managing product teams in a leadership role.
Is passionate about building world class 3D solutions and services to solve complex business needs
· Forward thinking and keeping up to date on current techniques and best practices
· Appreciates learning new things and diving deep into problem spaces
· Thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can change (and want to be involved in changing them!) and require both tactical hands-on and strategic thinking
· Creates a culture of seamless collaboration between the team and the rest of the organization
· Creates clarity with written, presented, and spoken communication in English
· Has an analytical mind and isn’t afraid of (and loves digging into) technical complexities
· Shares learnings and brings out the best in their PM counterparts and cross-functional team members
· Is decisive and isn’t afraid to make tough choices or challenge the status quo
· Takes responsibility for both strategy and day-to-day execution
· Has thorough knowledge of various rendering frameworks and engines, 3D, math, rendering algorithms and data structures.
· Has experience within VR/AR/MR.
· Demonstrates results oriented approaches and thinking.
· Is self-motivated and able to dive into a complex system with quick results.
· Has strong communication and proficiency working with internal and external stakeholders
· Practices creativity in problem solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions.
· Has experience with creating rendering solutions on mobile devices.
· Has professional experience with one or more shipped products.
