We are now looking for a Senior ECG Technical Advisor in the Cardiovascular Safety Centre of Excellence and SKGs.

The AZ ECG Centre, in the Cardiovascular Safety Center of Excellence and SKGs (CVS CoE and SKGs) in Global Patient Safety, is AstraZeneca´s ECG Core Laboratory. We deliver scientific/medical advice and ECG services across therapeutic areas. We strive toward scientific, technical and operational excellence in ECG study design, analysis and interpretation using state-of-the-art, in-house developed and maintained tools.
What you'll do
As a Senior ECG Technical Advisor at the Cardiovascular Safety Centre of Excellence (CVS CoE) and SKGs, you will play an important role in continuous improvement, implementation and maintenance of compliant recording, transfer and analysis solutions of digital Electrocardiogram (dECG) data. This is applicable at the CVS CoE/AZ ECG Centre and at clinical study sites where the CVS CoE/AZ ECG Centre provides ECG services, including training of staff in using related systems.
You provide leadership and coordination of technical and business expertise in improvement projects and initiatives, as well as in system maintenance activities, meant to ensure the continuous improvement of the dECG tools and systems allocated to you. You are responsible to ensure that all tools, systems and processes used in this chain of events are tested and validated according to AstraZeneca policies and standard procedures. You act in one or more of the following roles; Business Tool Manager, Technical Training Team leader, EClysis Super-User, as per business needs. You will deputize, when required, for the System Owner or Process Owner roles within the CVS CoE/AZ ECG Centre. By doing this you sustain an environment where continuous improvement of ECG technical and analytical skills, scientific competence and collaboration are permanently in focus.
Other accountabilities of the Senior ECG Technical Advisor:

Is main point of contact with the IT support and maintenance organization, regarding the purchasing, set-up, maintenance and usage of technical equipment, computerized systems and applications at the CVS CoE/AZ ECG Centre
*
Coordinates the regular review of required/requested tool improvement related activities
*
Develops/implements transition plans for each tool
*
Proposes solutions for an integrated technology vision and strategy for the CVS CoE Business Area that ensures a beneficial synergy between processes and technologies
*
Leads the system deployment and tracks implementation and adoption of assigned tool(s) and related processes at study sites, external service providers, CROs and at the CVS CoE/AZ ECG Centre
*
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency/effectiveness of assigned tool(s)
*
Together with the Application Service Manager(s), develops and monitors performance against KPIs related to the operation of assigned tool(s)
*
Assesses impact of Business Area(s) strategy or solutions on assigned tool(s)
*
Performs cost and benefit assessment of tool developments to support business case development
*
Evaluates, plans, and performs global validation of new versions of assigned tool(s) in collaboration with the IT Project Manager and other experts, for functionality enhancements, and with the Service Manager(s), for bug fixes, in line with company and regulatory requirements.

May fulfil the Data Steward role for digital ECG data
Essential for the role
*
Engineer, IT specialist/technician, testing/validation specialist, or BMA/registered nurse, with minimum 5 years of working experience in a regulated environment (GXP) and with experience with medical devices and digital/computerized medical systems;
