Senior ECU Component owner

Today we deliver to different automotive brands in the Geely family such as Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, and Lynk & Co and are based at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.

We are now looking for ECU SW and Component owner who will be responsible for some nodes at the Body Electronics area. You will drive component activities in the concerned area with lead responsibility to handle supplier dialogue and planning and issue handling. You will not develop new SW but will support the suppliers with the understanding of the requirements and you will be responsible for the quality assurance and documentation received by the supplier.   

In this role you will also report the progress and respond to the component specific needs at all involved departments within Intelligent platform, validation, subsystem development, function/attributes, electrical architecture, EOL/Factory etc. You will externally follow up progress towards external customers as for example  VCC/Geely and the TIER1/2 suppliers.  Moreover, in this role you will be continuously reporting progress to the project leaders, Body Electronics technical leader and the head of ECU Development. As SW component owner you will be responsible for the communication with the suppliers and the quality assurance of the deliveries.

Suitable background and experiences:
* Master of science in Mathematics and Computer science, Electrical Engineer or similar
* Experience from automotive and Electrical/Electronic development
* The person for this assignment needs to have ECU technical knowledge or previous experience of component ownership.
* SW development knowledge and understanding is a merit but automotive requirement handling and experience from PLM systems is more required for the role.
* Fluent in English  (both written and spoken) Mandarin is a merit.
