Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Senior E&I Technician to join our Skellefteå team.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. As a Senior E&I Technician you will be responsible for the execution of electrical maintenance and instrumentation calibration in the factory to deliver our reliability, cost and safety targets.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interface with operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and communicate improvements that need and have been done.
Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Calibrate instruments based on calibration plan or when requested.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues using appropriate testing devices.
Repair and replace instruments, devices, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Contribute to maintenance program optimisation.
Coach technicians to perform daily activities, rounds, troubleshooting and repairs.
Evaluation of needed spare parts of the equipment. Prepare consumables list for resupplying the workshop supplies.
Support hands-on training sessions for new industrial electrician technicians.
Participate with electrical engineers and supervisors in creating safety procedures, work routines, action plans, etc.

Qualifications/education/experience
Three years electrical gymnasium with a focus on industrial automation or similar.
Fluency in English
Elementary computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Previous experience in maintenance or production, minimum 5 years.
Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish.
Specific skills:
Expert technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, automation, hydraulic and pneumatic.
Proven skills in working with continuous improvements in an industrial environment.
