We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Senior Electrical Design System Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Design System Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electrical design solutions for both new and existing platforms with your colleagues.
This means that you will define solutions in a fully distributed electrical system based on the electrical architecture mechanisms. You will help manage, resolve, and balance conflicting requirements by participating in the overall system design process.
You will collaborate with other electrical engineers and designers to lead and coordinate solutions across platforms, as well as with the test group to ensure that requirements are testable and work as expected.
Main responsibilities include:
Define solutions in a fully distributed electrical system based on electrical architecture mechanisms.
Together with other system engineers, create schematics.
Conduct investigations and generate concepts at the subsystem and architecture levels to achieve electrical system reliability, cost, and performance.
Contribute to team efforts to develop cross-platform solutions.
Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
MSc/BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics
Minimum of 8 years' experience designing HW electrical systems.
Experience with MOSFET selection, Serial Interface Power Controllers, and Power Supplies is preferred.
Design of a power distribution system.
Knowledge of HV and LV design
Designing and drafting system schematics
Hil Rig development / virtual verification
Development of a grounding system;
Development of a vehicle's electrical architecture;
FMEA; System security; EMC and ELP
