We are currently looking for a

Senior Electrical Engineer/Test lead for our location in Västerås, Sweden

As a Senior Electrical Engineer leading our test activities you will plan and coordinate many different tests, from formal validation to production test, to more exploratory tests with the goal improve the design and increase the robustness of our propulsion products. You will collaborate with many different functions and experts within engineering and manufacturing. We believe that you are curious person with a passion to investigate, explore and solve technical challenges. To really succeed in this position, you also need to combine an innovative and analytical mindset with a practical touch and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead, plan, and coordinate test activities to ensure an efficient high-quality validation.
• Perform formal validation, and more exploratory tests of components and complete converter units.
• Establish and develop test methodologies and capabilities both in-house and at external test institutes with the focus to improve the design and increase the robustness of our propulsion products.
• Write test specifications and test reports and aim for a standardized way of specifying tests and reporting test results for all our products.
• Support the design team in creating test cases and setting up necessary tests to validate single components and converter units.
• Support and collaborate with our production teams to establish an efficient production test concept for all our products.
• Analyze test results and come up with new innovate ways of making use of test data to improve the design and quality of our products.


Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering physics or equivalent education
• At least 8 years of work experience in relevant field of electrical engineering (High voltage testing, Testing, Power Electronics, Converter electrical engineering, Power systems)
• Experience and training in electrical safety is preferred.
• Structured, analytical and flexible.
• Experience of planning and coordination of activities is required.
• Knowledge of Matlab, PLECS, Simulink, Labview
• English, business fluent, is mandatory for this role.
