Description
Are you passionate about automation engineering and curious about complex converting machine technology?
The Engineering group within SCO IBM deliver mechanical design, automation, technical publications and equipment safety in all converting technology areas. We are the global owner of the converting specifications related to tools, methods and standards for converting equipment design. Our group is currently looking for a Senior Electrical and Safety designer. In this position you will work in partnership with suppliers, specialists and consultants and you will take an ownership of the overall picture of a technical solution, making sure that the team delivers on time and according to specifications.
Main responsibilities
-Drive electrical and safety design projects with focus on implementation projects
-Design electrical automation solutions according to legal demands, corporate standards and product specifications
-Participate in cross functional project teams
-Electrical design in CAD environment (ePlan P8 preferred)
-Be responsible for specifications of electrical equipment
-Co-ordinate design activities in the projects
-Support and educate suppliers and customers with our standards and working methods
-Budget, plan and lead automation upgrades and Industrialization projects
Qualifications
We believe that you have a structured and analytical way of working. You have the ability to work in teams, as well as on your own. You have a high personal drive and feel engaged in your tasks with a clear focus on delivering results with quality. You
understand how you lead and motivate people, having the ability to adjust your leadership to different persons.
You have a solid background with at least 4 years of experience from Electrical design and development of electrical hardware, in a technically complex environment. You have past experience in project management or sub project management, still focusing on technical delivery. We also believe that you have experience from designing safety solutions according to legal demands. If you additionally have working experience of electrical supervision, this would be highly valuable.
