So who are we?
We are the group for EMC Technology area at Electrical and Electronic Architecture in Gothenburg. We provide world class solutions and tests for electromagnetic compatibility in our trucks. In essence we are a group of highly motivated engineers that love our work and use our creativity to secure product quality! What do we do & why do we do that?
We conduct formal test of the electrical system with focus on EMC. Within our scope of responsibility lies the work with development of requirement, new test methods, simulations, processes, and tools. As of the increased complexity of our new products and the electrical architecture, there is an increased need of faster feedback and quality assurance in development. On par with the rest of our verification activities the electromagnetic simulation area will be a key for our future products.
Who are you?
We are looking for a Simulation engineer within electromagnetics that enjoys finding early design faults so that the EMC issues can be avoided early in our projects. To be successful in this position, we believe you currently work as a simulation engineer within the electrical domain, from DC to microwave frequencies, and that you have some years' experience within this area. On top of that you have customer focus, delivery precision and good communication skills! On par with the rest of our team you are curious, positive, pro-active and want to work in the automotive business!
Qualifications
MSC or PhD in physics, electronics or recognized equivalent
Experience of simulation software within the electromagnetic domain (e.g. CSD, FEKO)
Experience of electrical system domain (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
Knowledge and experience of Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Experience within electrical HW design is a merit
