Senior Electromechanical Engineer

You will be given the opportunity to develop li-ion battery modules and platforms for a variety of demanding applications such as industrial, energy storage and automotive. We are searching for a Senior Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineer with extensive experience of working with electromechanical applications and are well oriented with the relevant requirements. You have preferably worked as a li-ion Battery Design Engineer within high volume industries such as automotive, energy storage or power tools. You have also a good understanding of production processes and have a proven record of taking part in the full development cycle of high energy li-ion battery packs or related fields. We highly appreciate your extensive knowledge in injection molding design and production process.

Skills & Requirements
+6 years of mechanical design experience from high performance li-ion batteries and/or battery modules and/or battery packs or extensive experience from electromechanical designs
Experience in designing parts and system for high volume electromechanical applications
Extensive experience in various manufacturing methods is highly valued
Experience in various mechanical joining methods and cell to busbar joining methods is a big plus
Strong Hands-On computer aided design skills
Experience in development processes and problem-solving methodologies
Excellent analytical skills, especially in the field of design for safety, production, cost and serviceability
Experienced with battery related standards such as IEC, UL and UN
Experience working in international teams and with customers
Excellent communication skills in English, in written and oral
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
