Sigma Connectivity is an internationally recognized technology design house that provides customers with everything they need to bring new products to life. Due to growing demand for our MedTech expertise, we're expanding our electronic design capabilities with a new high-profile role designing and testing electronics for customer projects, meeting with customers, helping to grow the team, and of course having fun while doing it!
Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer with a good understanding of hardware development for MedTech products. If you have expertise designing hardware—ideally for medical applications—and have the ability understand and interpret customer needs to transform them into manufacturable designs, then we would like to hear from you!
We're ideally looking for the following qualifications:
5+ years of electrical design and/or eCAD experience.
Experience with the product development process, from brain-storming concepts to manufacturing and delivering real products
Appreciation for the value of maintaining good documentation
Good at communicating complex things in a simple way.

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience
Experience working with ISO 13485 and IEC 60601 standards for Medical Devices.
Experience working with wireless connected “smart” products using connectivity standards such as Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, LTE
Able to design and test for good EMC performance
Experience with low current microcontroller solutions
Battery and charging design solutions
Discrete design for analog electronics
Understanding of how to write test specifications from project requirements
