Senior Electronics Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

- Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by conducting research.
- Confirms systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods
- Develops electronic products by designing and developing electronics products based on customer requirements and assembly methods and materials.
- Develops and/or integrates low-level software drivers to electronic products.
- Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods from functional and regulatory perspectives - testing finished products and system capabilities.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Keeps design, development and test equipment operational
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supports software engineers by providing advice and coaching
- Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


Expected Qualifications/Skills:

- Communication skills
- Teamwork
- Substantial experience within the field of electronics design
- Conceptual & technology discussions both internally, with customers and suppliers
- Both analog and digital electronics construction - component knowledge and ability to design.
- PCB-level construction with memories, microprocessors, RF communication, peripheral circuits such as sensors, power supply, etc.
- CAD program for circuit diagrams, technical specifications/data sheets and requirements specifications
- EMC aspects in the design phase as well as subsequent certification measurements
- Optimize the design according to the customer's objectives, such as low power consumption, cost optimization, easy to manufacture, etc.
- Experience of Altium Designer
- Experience in low-level software drivers
- Experience from functional verification against requirement specification
- Ability to document your work for finalizing the deliverables.
- Fluent in Swedish and English


Education and Experience Requirements:

- MSc (preferred) or BSc in electronics engineering, or related discipline
- 5-10 years of job-related experience
